Safeguard Scientifics Welcomes Dr. Keith Jarrett to the Board of Directors

We’re pleased to welcome a new member to our board of directors, Dr. Keith B. Jarrett, who was appointed to our board yesterday following the annual meeting of shareholders of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. Dr. Jarrett brings a quarter century of experience in venture capital, private equity, and finance technology to his new role. With this appointment, our board has been expanded to nine.
Dr. Jarrett has spent the last decade as a private investor, corporate advisor, and an active board representative for venture-stage and other private growth equity organizations. Previously, he was a founding executive of Thompson Financial, a leading vendor of information and technology solutions to the global financial community.
