A Focus on Life Sciences

Safeguard Scientifics has a unique and consistent approach to putting capital to work in the life sciences sector. We target capital efficient diagnostic companies that we believe will have success with applications they submit to the FDA. In addition, we prefer to put capital to work in device markets where there is more of a commercialization play. We also like selective opportunities in specialty pharmaceutical companies, such as our new partner company Putney.
